Community Breathwork & Sound
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Join Katie Lemmert for an active breathwork meditation that blends guided breath patterns, music, and the healing resonance of sound bowls - designed to help you shift out of your thinking mind and into the wisdom of your body.
Registration recommended but not required.
During this session, you'll discover how breathwork can:
✨ Lower stress and calm anxiety
✨ Release fear, doubt, and anger
✨ Create clarity and alignment for your mind, body, and spirit
✨ Help you process and connect to your consciousness
✨ Improve digestion and immune function
✨ Reduce pain and inflammation in the body
✨ Boost self-love and emotional insight
✨ Support the release of trauma and addictive patterns
There will be space to feel your feelings, whether that means laughing, crying, yelling, or simply being present. Connect with your sacred intelligence. We’ll begin with gentle intention-setting, then move into the active breathwork with a curated playlist of music, and end with a deeply restorative sound bowl shavasana, a healing experience that soothes the nervous system and leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and more balanced. No experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome. The collective energy of the group amplifies the healing, creating a powerful container for transformation. There will be space afterwards to linger together over tea or water if you feel called to stay. She’ll have some options, but please feel free to bring your own.
Dynamic Meditation
Join Katie Lemmert for an active breathwork meditation that blends guided breath patterns, music, and the healing resonance of sound bowls - designed to help you shift out of your thinking mind and into the wisdom of your body.
Registration encouraged but not required.
If you have attended one of Katie’s breathwork classes, you already know she invites you to explore your edges within a safe and intentional container. Dynamic Meditation offers that same permission to go inward while fully engaging the body. If you feel the need to move, release, clear mental clutter, and/or experience catharsis in a supported space, this class is for you.
This one hour practice unfolds in five stages. Eyes remain closed throughout, and a blindfold can deepen your internal focus. The stages include fast chaotic breathing, emotional release, mantra with jumping, stillness, and celebratory movement. Each phase is intentional, building toward a profound sense of witnessing, silence, and inner spaciousness.
Dynamic Meditation is a direct and thorough method for interrupting old patterns held in the body and mind and reconnecting with clarity and aliveness in the present moment.
Bring water for grounding afterward. We will close with time to sit together and share reflections for those who feel called.
Come ready to move, release, and meet yourself honestly.

Community Herbal Study Group
The Community Herbal Study Group is a monthly gathering to encourage connection, education, and a deeper appreciation for herbalism/plant medicine. This collaborative “knowledge share” creates a space where community members can explore the history, folklore, and medicinal properties of healing herbs in a supportive environment. As a facilitated study group (not a lecture), participants will learn together through the traditions of community and folk herbalism. Whether a seasoned herbalist or just beginning a journey with plants, all levels of experience are welcome.
Folk herbalism, often referred to as the “Wise Woman” tradition, is a community-based practice rooted in the nourishing and restorative properties of plants. It emphasizes a hands-on, ancestral relationship with the local environment, focusing on seasonal wellness and shared wisdom. This approach values the stories, folklore, and historical uses of plants alongside their physical benefits.
Information shared in this study group is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
About the Facilitator:
Jessica Coffey is a Community Herbalist dedicated to sharing plant wisdom and ecological stewardship practices to foster wellness and connection within the local community. Guest speakers may be invited to contribute to and enhance the discussion.
Certified Community Herbalist: Completed an 8-month "Whole Living" herbalism and gardening program at Forrest Green Farm (Louisa, VA).
Foundational Training: Completed "Introduction to Herbalism" with Kat Maier at Sacred Plant Traditions (Charlottesville, VA).
Continuing Education: Currently enrolled in the "Herb of the Month" intensive with The Elderberry (Charlottesville, VA).
Field Study: Participating in the "Medicine of Place" botanical tour in Ireland (May 2026), studying culture and native flora with a collective of master herbalists.
Local Collaboration: Peer collaborator with Bon Air Botanicals, assisting in the facilitation of plant medicine-making classes.
Cost: by donation. All donations will go to support Living Water.
