Maha Vira Workshops -

Friday, April 17th | 6-7:30 pm

Open Flow with Ben Kalra

An extended practice to include dynamic asana, pranayama, meditation, and a dharma talk. The purpose of physical practice is to guide us toward stillness; we'll calmly build the energy up by igniting breath and movement, before winding back down and turning inward.

This practice is offered by donation.

Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended.

Saturday, April 18th | 10 am - 4 pm

Masterclass and Bhagavad Gita Workshop with Ben Kalra

A workshop-style practice focused on developing strength, fluency, capacity, and stability. We'll take a new approach to familiar postures, practice hands-on adjustments, break down movement patterns, and plant seeds for future practices. We'll break for lunch and then take a deep dive into the philosophy, history, and modern context of the Bhagavad Gita. What is the role of spiritual practice in a chaotic and often violent world? Should we keep it peaceful or fight against injustice? Should we seek to take action or yield to inaction? We'll explore themes like these through lecture, discussion, and journal prompts.

Join for the morning or afternoon only or dive in for the whole experience. Learn more and save your space at mahavirarva.com

Cosmic Rest

Join J Miles for a Reiki-infused vibrational sound healing experience. We will begin by connecting with our breath to get out of our heads and drop into our bodies, calming our nervous systems and cultivating a space for deep healing before drifting into a full-body relaxation guided by the sounds of Tibetan singing bowls. This offering is made possible by your donations and is offered on a sliding scale. Registration is recommended.
