The next gathering of river city sing is at the end of the month!
🍂At the midpoint of autumn, leaves are at their peak and begin to fall, we sense the deeper shift into cooler weather, and the nights become longer. In many cultures in the Northern Hemisphere, this time is marked by holidays like Día de los Muertos, All Saints’, and Samhain (where we get Halloween). It is said that these are liminal days where “the veil is thin": between seasons, between ancestors & the living, and in our own being as we notice what we need as we move towards the winter.
🍁So we will gather to sing threshold songs for this time - welcoming the cooler days, noticing the energy of nature around us, and honoring the changes we sense shifting within.
