with a suggested donation from $15 - $35+
* If you cannot donate this amount, you are still warmly welcome and encouraged to join.

You’re welcome to bring your own mat or borrow one of ours. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and bring water!

This ancient practice connects breath, movement & energy. Newcomers are welcome.
Much of the wisdom of Chinese Medicine is summed up in the phrase, "Return to Nature." By discerning patterns and natural laws, ancient practitioners of Qigong and Chinese medicine found the keys to longevity and harmony in life. It is this spiritual and philosophical aspect, along with the movement practices of Qigong, which Jonah is passionate about sharing with others.

All-levels yoga class: mats and props available!
J is a Yogi, martial artist, body worker, retired breakdancer, community activist, and the son of a Baptist minister, and has been learning and studying eastern arts and philosophy for nearly two decades.

Guided meditation followed by time for community reflection. No meditation experience is needed for this class - it is open to all!
Through the teachings of masters such as Tich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, Tara Brach and Ram Dass, Josh’s spiritual curiosity, meditation practice and education has not only awakened his conscious state of Being, but has lit a fire of compassion that he now strives to share with the community of Richmond through guided meditations and talks.

Inspired by the many yoga styles and body disciplines discovered and practiced in NY, Puerto Rico and Virginia, Alexza's class promotes a playful body and a peaceful mind. In this class, through effort and willingness, we will cultivate an ability to connect with and live in the present moment.
Alexza is a dancer, a rave and club dj, and an adventurer. She has managed yoga studios in Tribeca and RVA, and taught regularly in Costa Rica. Alexza is also a serious student of astrology, breathwork, occult, energy, healing and mysticism.

As a 250-hour certified yoga instructor, Shonda doesn't just guide bodies through poses; she nurtures spirits and fosters self-discovery in every session. Beyond her role as a wellness entrepreneur and yoga instructor, she is a devoted mother, embodying balance and nurturing both her family and her community.

Beginner-friendly yoga class that incorporates sound healing.
Shanna Thornton began on the path of yoga in January 2016 and hasn’t looked back since! She incorporates yoga philosophy, pranayama, and sound into her classes. She also facilitates the 4th Sunday sound meditation as well as 1st and 4th Saturday Community Yoga.

This class combines seated and standing postures to balance mind and body.
Annie’s teaching practice includes vinyasa yoga, gentle yoga, restorative yoga, yin yoga, and yoga nidra, depending on the needs of each individual or group. She also offers guided meditation and sound meditations. She believes yoga practice can be helpful for anyone in centering, finding peace, and connecting to self and others, and tunes each practice to that goal.

1st and 4th Saturdays: Shanna
Shanna Thornton began on the path of yoga in January 2016 and hasn’t looked back since! She incorporates yoga philosophy, pranayama, and sound into her classes. She also facilitates the 4th Sunday sound meditation as well as 1st and 4th Saturday Community Yoga.
2nd and 3rd Saturdays: Heather
Heather first found Yoga out of curiosity when she was 13 years old at her local YMCA and that is when her journey began. Over the years as she continued on her journey, she realized Yoga was her number one constant in life, whether it was an actual class or youtube or apps. She collected books, magazines and yoga gear over the years. At the age of 36, she completed her 200 hr yoga teacher training at Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville, Virginia.

This class combines creativity and mindfulness. Supplies are provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own. No art experience necessary!
Miles is a Board Member at Living Water and an artist, passionate about helping folks uncover their own inner creativity.
