1 lb. Honey

$15.00

At Living Water Community Center, we care for our honeybee hives in sustainable and thoughtful ways. A hive is a home, and we respect the bee's home. When it comes time to extract honey, we only pull honey from mature established hives. Why is this important?

A mature established hive will produce 2 to 3 times more honey than they will consume throughout the year. That being the case, no more than 1/2 the honey produced in each hive is taken to extract. This is done intentionally and with the mindset of helping to create rewarding and renewable practices that support this intricate cycle between honeybees and humans. Our 1 lb. jar of honey is the smallest size we sell.
