Exploring Meditation Through the Yoga Sutras

A 4-Week Series

The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali offer a timeless framework for understanding the mind, cultivating awareness, and living with greater clarity. This four-week series invites participants to explore meditation through these teachings in a practical, accessible way—rooted in lived experience rather than theory.

This series is open to all. No prior experience with meditation or the Yoga Sutras is required.

What This Series Will Explore

Over four weeks, we’ll explore meditation through key themes drawn from the Yoga Sutras, including:

  • How the mind creates our experienced reality and how increased awareness of the mind can improve the quality of our lives

  • How meditation and non-attachment can produce greater clarity and freedom

  • The relationship between practice, consistency, and inner steadiness

  • How contemplative practice supports everyday life and intentional living

Each session will include:

  • Group meditation

  • Reflections from the Yoga Sutras

  • Space for inquiry and shared discussion
