Mindful Eating for Mental Health
Mindful Eating and Mental Health: An 8-Week Course
This 8-week course offers a supportive and welcoming environment designed to help participants explore and deepen their understanding of the intricate relationship between mindful eating and mental health.
Throughout weekly sessions, individuals will engage in a variety of mindfulness practices aimed at uncovering their personal connections with food, while also examining how both acute and chronic stress can affect eating behaviors and overall mental well-being. The course places a strong emphasis on slowing down, becoming more fully aware, and intentionally engaging with food, fostering new approaches to self-nourishment that are grounded in awareness, compassion, and kindness.
This program is co-facilitated by Kristin Schaefer, [degree], and Kimberly Lemite, Licensed Psychologist.
